Have you always wanted to be a model? If not, what did you want to be growing up?
Growing up, I always wanted to work in the movie industry. First, I wanted to become a dubbing actress and later an actress

How were you scouted?
My mother sent vacation pictures of me to a kids agency in my hometown when I was 11.

What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model?
Meeting so many new, interesting people and traveling to different places are aspects that I love. I also enjoy to slip into a role on the shoot and look a certain way that you would've never expected yourself to be able to look like.

Is there anyone that you admire as a role model and why?
I admire my parents because they are the strongest people I've ever met. They also live in a really happy and loving marriage which I would love to have as well when I am older.

What is your dream shoot/campaign?
A beauty campaign or a shooting for vogue are definitely dreams of mine.

How do you stay in shape?
I love doing HIIT workouts since I don't enjoy cardio forms like running. Other than that, I do a mix of weight training and homeworkouts. When it comes to my diet, I try to avoid processed food and focus on eating clean.

What do you think about fashion? What does it mean to you?
Fashion plays such an important part in my life. It gives you the opportunity to feel different each time, based on what you are dressed like. I love that you can express yourself and your attitude through fashion and I think that this is what makes it that special for me.

If you had to be head to toe in one designer brand for the rest of your life, which would it be?
Probably Chanel. I love the timelessness of the pieces. They are so classy and feminine.

How would you describe your style?
When I was younger, I always thought that you had to decide on a particular style that you had to stick to. Now I just wear whatever I like and what I think looks good, so I do not have an exact style. I would say it's a mix of everything.

Denim or leather?
Denim! I'm currently obsessed with denim-on-denim looks.

Heels or flats?
Neither. I am really into sneakers. I wear them every single day.

Vintage or contemporary fashion?
Vintage!

What is your guilty pleasure?
Sneakers! You can never have enough of them :)

When you're not busy modeling, what are some of your favorite things to do?
I love meeting my friends, reading a good book (like Harry Potter) or playing the piano.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years' time?
To be honest, I can't imagine, what my life is exactly going to be like in 10 years when I am 28 years old. Of course, I hope that my family and I will be healthy and happy. Apart from that, I can't make other predictions since I feel like some things happen differently as you may expect it. I try to find a mix of planning on a long- and on a short term though. I don't think that it's good to only focus on either one of them, so you have to find a good balance.

Thank you, Maxima, for taking the time to talk with us!
