Model of the Week: Sara Chybalska

Each week, we take the time to highlight one of our favorite emerging models. This week we're turning our attention to Sara Chybalska. We caught up with the budding beauty to talk about her career so far, her passion for modeling and her plans for the future.

Nationality: Polish Instagram: sarachybalska Have you always wanted to be a model? If not, what did you want to be growing up? Since childhood, I always wanted to be a doctor. When I was young, I even was a kind of a 'medic' at my house. I was checking temperature, treating wounds, measuring blood pressure and many other things. I was so fascinated by medicine, that I even learned anatomy back then. So I definitely not always wanted to be a model. How were you scouted? When I was at a summer camp, someone told me about modeling agencies. It wasn't a scout but her niece was a model and she told me that I had predispositions. Then I applied to my mother agency in Poland. How would you describe yourself as model in three words? Hardworking, determined, open minded Your first modeling job? My first modeling job was in Poland. It was a show, not a big one but it still was really stressful for me. What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model? The most exciting aspect is the ability to travel. I could go to countries I always wanted to visit, but never could before. Is there anyone that you admire as a role model and why? I think it would be my mum. Not in every situation, but I love her commitment, helpfulness, flexibility, and good heart. Her opinion is irreplaceable. I always ask her for advice and help, and I always know that it will be valuable. What's been your biggest OMG moment to date? It was my first trip to China. Almost everything there was OMG for me. New culture, traditions, lifestyle and food. That's also where I learned about the modeling life. It was a completely new experience for me. What is your dream shoot/campaign? A Gucci campaign because why not haha. Biggest lesson that modeling has taught you? Use what you have right now, enjoy it, live life to the fullest, meet new friends, and visit beautiful places. What's the best life advice you've ever received? Do what you love and enjoy. There's no time for things you don't like because life is too short. How do you stay in shape? I eat a lot of vegetables, drink a lot of water, and I workout. When I'm in my hometown, I love to play with my dog outside which also helps a bit. What do you think about fashion? What does it mean to you? Fashion is art. Designers create something beautiful from just fabric. They can exprss themselves and let their ideas come to life. I love art and therefore fashion as well. It's not the most important thing for me but I truly appreciate and admire it and of course I like to look good. If you had to be head to toe in one designer brand for the rest of your life, which would it be? I would choose Prada How would you describe your style? Mixed. Sometimes I like to look vintage, other days classic but I also like streetwear. There are days when I spend hours thinking about what I'm going to wear, getting nervous that I have nothing to wear. But other days I just put on something comfortable that I can find at hand. Denim or leather? Really hard question but denim. Heels or flats? I am 179 cm tall so for normal days I chose flats (so I am not the tallest girl around) but sometimes I also like to wear heels, especially on catwalks which makes me feel better. Vintage or contemporary fashion? vintage What is your guilty pleasure? I'm in love with ice cream and bubble tea. If I could I would drink bubble tea every day. What's been your most indulgent purchase since you became a model? Since Im a model, I buy too many gifts for my family from trips. As a result, I almost always have excess baggage. If you were an emoji, which would you be and why? I would be a donut. My boyfriend told me that but I don't know why haha. When you're not busy modeling, what are some of your favorite things to do? I love to spend time with my family and my boyfriend. Cook together, play games and sometimes just talk. I also like going for trips to nice places with friends. What are you working on now and what do you dream of happening in the future? I am currently studying aviation and cosmonautics, that's what I'm working on now. I know that modeling in a lot of cases isn't for long, so I would like to have a fully satisfactory job in the future. Where do you see yourself in 10 years' time? Living with my boyfriend in a nice house in a small city or even in a village near a lake, in a place with a wonderful view. I would like to be near nature, where I feel better. Maybe I will have children as well. Check out Sara's profile here and check back next week to find out who our next 'Model of the Week' is.
