Fendi unveils its new Winter 2023-2024 collection Curated with Stefano Pilati

Italian luxury fashion house Fendi has unveiled its new Winter 2023-2024 collection curated with Italian fashion designer Stefano Pilati.

The collaboration is aptly named 'Friends of Fendi' and is part of a series of projects and collections instigated by Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini Fendi, which crosses 'party lines' in the fashion industry to celebrate friendship above all.

Pilati who is the former creative director of both Yves Saint Laurent and Ermenegildo Zegna Stefano, revisited Fendi codes, reaching beyond gender for a character-driven and iconoclastic approach.

The collection is a meeting point of two worlds - Milan and Rome, wherein Milanese bourgeois chic is melded with Roman freedom to create a boldly contemporary fashion. The classic flapper once seen as a symbol of female freedom has been reimagined as a symbol of freedom for both sexes. Inspired by the 1920s and 2020s, the genderless collection covers all product categories combining traditional womenswear and menswear.


'Stefano is one of the designers I admire the most. I was always in love with his work and he is somebody I look up to - he has been an inspiration for what I do. Stefano epitomizes Friends of Fendi: He is a friend, an inspiration and a designer for modern times, always looking to the future, asking questions and proffering solutions,' Fendi's artistic director of haute couture, ready-to-wear and fur collections for women Kim Jones said in a statement.

'Milano versus Roma: I am from Milan but there is a freedom in the Roman style that Milan does not have - there is always 'more'. This is a coming together of two worlds and I am so touched by the opportunity that Kim, Silvia and Fendi have given me to be so much myself while exploring theirs, the incomparable world of Fendi,' added Stefano Pilati.

To mark the launch of the collection Fendi has unveiled a campaign lensed by Collier Schorr and featuring models Colin Jones, Tyler Blue Golden, Anyier Anei, Holly Reyes, Chai Maximus, Laila Jackson, and Mazen Alsafi.

The 'Friends of Fendi' collection is available now online and in Fendi boutiques in London, Dubai, New York, Tokyo, Seoul and Hong Kong.
