Saint Laurent Rive Droite launches capsule in honor of Jean-Michel Basquiat

Saint Laurent Rive Droite has teamed up with the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat for a capsule collection and the Galerie Enrico Navarra for an exhibition inspired by the New York artist's work and immortal legacy.

Anthony Vaccarello, creative director of the French luxury house has created a lifestyle collection in collaboration with Artestar New York comprising of a hoodie, two T-shirts, a series of accessories (a tote bag, top and cross-body bag), undergarments, a backpack, iPhone covers, posters, skimboards, a skateboard triptych and three books dedicated to Basquiat.

One of the greatest figures of contemporary art in the 1980s, Basquiat was known for his figurative paintings that combine collage and graffiti. As a result, the exhibition which will run till september features his most sought-after pieces: a silkscreen print, 18 original lithographs, drawings, ceramic plates that belonged to Andy Warhorl, a spoon, and a denim jacket.

The Saint Laurent Rive Droite x Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat x Galerie Enrico Navarra capsule collection is available in Saint Laurent stores in Paris and Los Angeles as well as online.
