Each week, we take the time to highlight one of our favorite emerging models. Previously, we profiled Danish beauty Michela Strate and this week we're turning our attention to Charlotte Nolting.
The 24-year-old stunner has brows to-die-for and doe eyes that clearly set her apart - which is always a good thing in the modern modeling world. Most definitely a cool girl, one can expect to see the all-German fresh-faced beauty working her way around the catwalks season and cement herself as an "it" model.
We caught up with Charlotte to talk about her career so far, her passion for modeling and her plans for the future.
Have you always wanted to be a model? If not, what did you want to be growing up?
No, actually I wanted to become a journalist like Christiane Amanpour.
How were you scouted?
I emailed some pictures to my agency when I was 14 years old.
How would you describe yourself as a model in three words?
Ambitious, disciplined and punctual.
Your first modeling job?
A lookbook for the German designer Rena Lange.
What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model?
The possibility to travel to unique places all around the world.
Is there anyone that you admire as a role model and why?
My mom, who has achieved so much in her life while raising us a single parent.
What's been your biggest OMG moment to date?
My biggest omg moment was being booked for Prada.
What is your dream shoot/campaign?
An editorial with Tim Walker.
Biggest lesson that modeling has taught you?
Expect nothing, appreciate everything. And don't make too many plans in advance.
How do you stay in shape?
I run daily and take Pilates classes.
What do you think about fashion? What does it mean to you?
It is a way to express yourself.
If you had to be head to toe in one designer brand for the rest of your life, which would it be
Celine by Phoebe Philo. I'm still in absolute awe of what she created for the brand.
How would you describe your style?
Elegant but low maintenance.
Denim or leather?
Heels or flats?
Vintage or contemporary fashion?
Impossible to choose. I need the mix!
What is your guilty pleasure?
I try to be sensible with money but I do love handbags.
When you're not busy modeling, what are some of your favorite things to do?
My boyfriend and I love going to concerts. We saw Metronomy in Amsterdam in October.
What are you working on now and what do you dream of happening in the future?
When I'm not busy traveling for work, I love to catch up with my girlfriends or to take a Runbase Berlin class.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years' time?
Enjoying life and continuing working on things that make me happy.
Check out Charlotte's profile here and check back next week to find out who our next 'Model of the Week' is.
