Ganni and Levi\'s release second Sustainable Denim collection

Danish cult brand Ganni and iconic American jeans company Levis have partnered a second time for a Sustainable Denim Collection.

Unlike last years' rental-only Love Letter collection this time around it is yours to keep. The 14-piece ready-to-wear capsule comprises of timeless denim jeans, jackets, dresses and tops. Each of the pieces were made using cottonised hemp which is not only soft and luxurious but is sustainable as it uses less water and pesticides. Altogether, the collection combones both brands' classic styles and aesthetics with innovation and showcases of their commitment towards responsible fashion and sustainability.

'One of the great things about working with the Levi's team has been our shared ambition to create a responsible product. The hemp used to make the fabric is all rain feed with a proven lower footprint than conventional denim, traditionally made from cotton. The cottonized hemp is so soft and luxurious in feeling, you honestly can't tell it's not conventional denim,' Ditte Reffstrup, creative director of GANNI said in a press release.

'We're huge fans of GANNI's work and this collaboration was an opportunity to inject their sig- nature and effortless femininity into Levi's iconic denim, using next level sustainable materials with cottonised hemp. This collaboration was an opportunity to [use] next level sustainable materials with cottonized hemp. It's been amazing working with the GANNI team, we both share a passion for authenticity, originality, and sustainability. Ultimately, we set out to inspire authentic self-expression - creating unique and easy pieces that people fall in love with, and wear again and again and again,' Karyn Hillman, chief product officer at Levi's added.

Priced between 115-475 USD the Ganni x Levi's capsule collection is available on Ganni.com and Levi.com as well as Levi's and Ganni stores globally and select partners.
