Iris von Arnim launches its first zero waste collection

German Cashmere label Iris von Arnim has launched its first ever zero waste line.

Titled 'Re Edition' the the environmentally friendly collection comprises of reissued bestsellers made from 100 percent waste materials and residual yarn in limited quantities and colors. The first drop consists of four pullovers, a cardigan and a scarf in neutral and timeless tones such as off-white, beige or gray as well as bright colors such as pink, light blue and yellow. Altogether, the design is neutral and timeless and combines the three core elements of 'Recycle', 'Reduce' and 'Reuse'.

'We don't throw any yarn away. Our residual yarn is always stored and recycled in order to create a new, long-lasting product from it. The appreciation of the material is the core essence of our production. Residual yarns are stored and recycled to create a new, long-lasting product. This has always been part of our corporate philosophy,' said Valentin von Arnim, managing director of the label and son of founder Iris von Arnim.

Priced between 250 and 850 euros the 'Re Edition' collection will be available from 21 February on irisvonarnim.com and its stores.
