Simone Rocha is Jean Paul Gaultier's next guest designer

Iconic French fashion House Jean Paul Gaultier has announced that British designer Simone Rocha will be its next guest designer.

Rocha announced the collaboration in an Instagram post of a floral arrangement, accompanied by a signed, congratulatory note from none other than Legendary French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier himself.

'We are excited to announce that Simone Rocha will be our next guest designer for Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show that will be presented in January 2024. See you for your next show in Paris, Simone Rocha!,' the house said in a statement.

JPG launched the guest collaboration program after retiring in January 2020. Prior guests include Sacai's Chitose Abe, Balmain's Olivier Rousteing, Glenn Martens of Y/Project and Diesel, Haider Ackermann, and Paco Rabanne's Julien Dossena.

Rocha who is fresh off the back of her recent Spring Summer 24 show at London Fashion Week is the sixth guest designer to create a couture collection for the house. She is known for her dreamlike romantic silhouettes inspired by her native Ireland.
