Jimmy Choo launches new collection with 'In my Choos' series starring Sienna Miller

Jimmy Choo has launched a new interview series to coincide with the release of his 2019 pre-fall collection which was inspired by the style of the '90s.

Titled 'In My Choos' the new series focuses on celebrating exceptional women who dare to stand out. The first to be featured is British-American actress Sienna Miller who interprets her favorite Pre Fall '19 pieces.

'I mean, the 90s for me were just the chicest moment. Women in oversized blazers and very little makeup, I love that aesthetic. Because no one really looked like they were trying too hard. I get so sad sometimes looking back and seeing these pre-Instagram, pre-social media days where people were really wild and reckless and nothing was contrived or thought about, and it was a really original moment in fashion. It didn't feel it at the time. I was young, but. I remember it. But it just felt like scruffy, but now it's such a cool look, and I remember being at school and looking at photos of Winona Ryder and Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kate Moss and Johnny Depp,' Miller said in the interview.

Miller also spoke about how her approach to life has changed now that she's in her late 30s. 'I feel much more grounded and settled in myself. I feel calmer and happy. I look back on myself in my twenties, and I had an amazing time, but there was no root, nothing was holding me to the ground. I love that feeling of wisdom that comes with age. I am absolutely not willing to tolerate things that I would have tolerated before, and everything about life seems to become more and more enriching the older that I get,' the 37-year-old said.

The Jimmy Choo 2019 pre-fall collection includes glitzy evening pumps, Red Carpet worthy sparkling jeweled sandals, off-duty flats, summer wedges and sneakers adorned with luxurious detailing. There's also a premium leather cross body mini bag and a top handle handbag with statement buckle as accessories.
