Alejo Pichot is an Argentine photographer and visual artist based in Buenos Aires. He is best known for his work in fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography.

Pichot was born in Buenos Aires in 1982. He studied photography at the University of Buenos Aires, where he graduated with a degree in Visual Arts. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Elle, GQ, and The New York Times Magazine.

In addition to his commercial work, Pichot has also created several personal projects that explore themes of identity and belonging. His series “The Other Side” (2014) examines the lives of immigrants living in Argentina. His project “The Invisible” (2015) focuses on the experiences of people living with disabilities. In 2016, he released his first book “The Unseen” which features a collection of his photographs from around the world.

Pichot has exhibited his work internationally at galleries and museums including the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires and the International Center of Photography in New York City. He has also received numerous awards for his photography including the Grand Prix de la Photographie from the French Ministry of Culture (2015) and the International Photography Award from Sony World Photography Awards (2016).

Today, Pichot continues to create powerful images that explore themes of identity and belonging while pushing boundaries within contemporary photography.
