Moschino and Palace Unveil New Collaboration

Italian luxury fashion house Moschino and London-based kateboard brand Palace have teamed up for a limited-edition collection of ready-to-wear clothing, accessories and skateboards.

The collection came about after Palace's founder Lev Tanju and Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott met through mutual friends. Tanju spearheaded the design process and the resulting collection comprises of luxe printed puffers, shearling jackets, knitwear, casual hoodies, T-shirts, monogrammed denim and a leather milk carton bag.

All of the pieces of the collection are made in Italy, and are a blend of Moschino's focus on fashion and Palace's token attitude as well as both brands' unique sense of humour. The accompanying campaign was lensed by British photographer David Sims and features London-based model Georgia Palmer.

'I was happy to collaborate with my long-time pals at Palace to create this collection full of peace, love and hugs. What's really been different about this collaboration is I let them steer it. Usually when I do collaborations it's me really designing the whole idea. I wanted to let them have free rein about what they saw, their reverence for Franco's archives, their ideas about my work. I wanted to see how that would manifest, then I came in and played a little in there, but I didn't want to control it. I didn't want to pollute it with my own vision as much as I wanted them to have their moment with it. That's a very different thing than I've ever done before - period,' said Scott.

'Moschino is one of our favourite brands of all time: chic, sexy, innovative and properly funny. Working with them has been a full-blown dream scenario for us and we are still buzzing on it,' a spokesperson for Palace said.

The Palace x Moschino collection is available now on Moschino and Palace's websites. Meanwhile check out the lookbook here
