Bulgari reinterprets its B.zero1 collection for 2022

Luxury Italian jewelry maison Bulgari has reimagined its timeless and inimitable B.zero1 collection.

The new rendition comprises of rings and pendant necklaces in 18 kt yellow, rose and white gold inspired by the circularity of the Colosseum in Rome. The remodeled pieces retain its distinctive central spiral and Roman-style architectural forms except that demi-pave diamonds have been added to the edges.

According to the company, the B.zero1 New Wave release fuses its legendary convention-defying spirit with the evocative force of its new inspiration. 'This new interpretation strikes me as particularly light, graceful and feminine. The B.zero1 ring is a contemporary classic creation that we like to reinvent from time to time by changing materials and combining precious metals with marble or ceramic. Its design has been a revolution for the brand since its first version, while remaining traditional and respecting the codes of our aesthetics,' said Lucia Silvestri, artistic director of jewelry and head of gemstone purchasing at Bulgari.

Launched in 1999, to celebrate the future and welcome the millennium, the B.zero1 collection has reportedly sold more than two million rings. This concept is evident in its naming - in B.zero1, "B" stands for Bulgari, "zero" refers to the new millennium, and the number "1" symbolizes a new beginning of infinite possibilities.

The Bulgari B.zero1 2022 collection will launch later this month in the build up to the Bulgari B.zero1 Avrora Awards which takes place on 27 February in Milan. The event which pays tribute to classical culture and celebrates female talent and empowerment will be attended by extraordinary women including Sharon Stone, Rita Ora, Veronica Yoko Plebani and Kylie Minogue.
