The online platform for pre-owned luxury fashion has launched a Charity Sale in partnership with more than 50 influential celebrities to offer luxury pieces from their wardrobes. The list of famous stars includes Kate Moss, Rachel Weisz, Anna Dello Russo, Givenchy designer Clare Waight Keller, Veronika Heilbrunner, Camille Charriere, Pernille Teisbaek and Jeanette Madsen amongst many others.

'We're doing everything we can to combat the effects of the virus with our community, and to help fight it with charity fundraising,' Vestiaire Collective said in a statement.

According to the company all proceeds from the sale, as well as 100 percent of the commission that it receives, will be used to support hospitals and scientific researchers working on coronavirus. The proceeds will be donated to local charities, so for example proceeds from France will go to the 'Fondation Hopitaux de France-Paris', an association of hospitals in the French capital. In Italy, the Lombardy Regional Fundraising a donation program for the most affected region in the country is being supported and in Spain Madrid's La Paz University Hospital. Proceeds from the United States, Germany and Scandinavia will go to The World Health Organization (WHO).
