Haydenshapes and Dion Lee partner on contemporary Wetsuit Collection

Australian surfboard maker Haydenshapes and New York-based Australian designer Dion Lee have teamed up to release a Contemporary Wetsuit Collection.

Titled 'Haydenshapes Rubber by Dion Lee' the capsule comprises of 18 wetsuits for men and women, made from non-petroleum-based Yamamoto limestone rubber, a sustainable and eco-friendly material manufactured by the Osaka-based Yamamoto company.

Fusing architectural tailoring with performance wetsuit engineering, each of the pieces draw inspiration from Dion Lee's signature design concepts. Lee's iconic braided spine detail is engineered by manipulating neoprene to create gill-like features in the aqualung pieces while integrated corsetry, featured in the women's' pieces, adapts signature corsetry construction, allowing for performance and maneuverability when submerged in water.

Priced between 250 and 590 USD, the Haydenshapes Rubber by Dion Lee collection is available now in Ssense, Dion Lee stores worldwide, dionlee.com, and Haydenshapes.com.
