Iodice is one of the most important brands in Brazil, internationally known for its design and quality. Under the creative direction of Valdemar Iodice, the brands activities initially involved knitwear, eventually changing to jeanswear. Valdemar joind his fascination by womens femininity, sophistication and craftwork to express the essence of his fashion: the silhouette.
Among the key milestones is the first fashion show, held in 1995 in the movie studio Adrenalina, in Sao Paulo.
The first Iodice store was opened at Iguatemi Shopping Mall in 1998, elegantly reverencing the integration between design and fashion. This stores reopening was innovative, applying new concepts in product line sectoring without leaving esthetics and beauty aside.
Another milestone happened in March 2001, when Valdemar Iodice opened his first main house on renowned Oscar Freire Street, in Sao Paulo. The store has 500 square meters distributed into 3 floors: prt--porter and womens jeanswear on the ground floor, the male collection on the first floor, and Valdemar Iodices exclusive line on the second floor.
The brand can be found in 500 of the main multibrand stores in Brazil. The first step taken abroad was the making of showrooms in Los Angeles and New York. Nowadays, the Iodice brand is distributed to 240 points of sale outside Brazil, including the renowned department stores Sake Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.
