Born in the Netherlands in 1975, Wiglius de Bie developed an early interest in photography. He studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, where he graduated with a degree in photography. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers.

In his work, Wiglius de Bie seeks to capture the beauty of everyday life and explore the relationship between people and their environment. His photographs often feature natural landscapes or urban scenes with a focus on light and texture. He has also worked on projects that explore themes such as identity, memory, and nostalgia.
