Volker Debus is a German photographer who has been capturing stunning images of nature and wildlife for over 30 years. He has traveled to some of the most remote and beautiful places on earth, from the Arctic to the African savannah, in order to capture unique and captivating images.

Volker was born in Germany in 1965 and grew up surrounded by nature. His love of photography began at an early age, when he would take pictures of his family and friends during their outdoor adventures. As he grew older, his passion for photography only increased, leading him to pursue a career as a professional photographer.

In 1989, Volker moved to the United States where he began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. He quickly gained recognition for his stunning images of nature and wildlife, which were often featured on the covers of magazines such as National Geographic and Outdoor Photographer.

In addition to his work as a freelance photographer, Volker also teaches workshops on photography around the world. He has written several books about photography, including “The Art of Nature Photography” (2003) and “Wildlife Photography: A Guide to Capturing Nature’s Beauty” (2006). He also runs an online store where he sells prints of his work.

Volker’s photographs have been exhibited in galleries around the world, including New York City’s Museum of Modern Art and London’s Natural History Museum. His work has also been featured in numerous publications such as National Geographic Magazine, Outdoor Photographer Magazine, The Guardian newspaper, BBC Wildlife Magazine, and many more.

Volker continues to travel around the world capturing stunning images that showcase the beauty of nature and wildlife. His passion for photography is evident in every image he takes; each one is unique and captivating in its own way.
