Tim Elkaïm is a French photographer and filmmaker based in Paris. He has been working in the field of photography for over 20 years, and his work has been featured in numerous publications, exhibitions, and films.

Tim was born in Paris in 1975 and grew up surrounded by art and culture. His father was a painter, and his mother was a sculptor. From an early age, Tim was exposed to the world of art and photography, which inspired him to pursue a career as a photographer.

In 1997, Tim graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris with a degree in photography. After graduation, he began working as an assistant to several renowned photographers before launching his own career as an independent photographer.

Throughout his career, Tim has focused on capturing moments of everyday life with an eye for detail and emotion. His work often features people from all walks of life—from street performers to celebrities—and he is known for his ability to capture the beauty of everyday moments that often go unnoticed. He has also worked extensively with fashion brands such as Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Yves Saint Laurent.

In addition to his photography work, Tim has also directed several short films that have been screened at film festivals around the world. He is currently working on a feature-length documentary about the history of French fashion photography.

Tim's work has been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Centre Pompidou in Paris and The Museum of Modern Art in New York City. He has also published several books featuring his photographs including “Paris: A Photographic Journey” (2008) and “The World Through My Eyes” (2012).
