Thue Norgaard is a Danish photographer and visual artist based in Copenhagen. He is known for his unique and creative approach to photography, often combining elements of nature, architecture, and fashion.

Norgaard began his career as a photographer in the early 2000s, working with fashion magazines such as Vogue and Elle. His work has since been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, Wallpaper*, and Dazed & Confused. He has also collaborated with brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Levi’s.

In addition to his commercial work, Norgaard has also created several personal projects that explore themes of identity and belonging. His series “The Other Side” (2009) was an exploration of the relationship between people and their environment. His most recent project “The Unseen” (2015) was a series of photographs taken in remote locations around the world that capture moments of stillness and solitude.

Norgaard’s work has been exhibited internationally at galleries such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo, the Photographers Gallery in London, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. He has also been awarded several prestigious awards including the Hasselblad Masters Award (2014) and the International Photography Award (2015).
