Stanislaw Boniecki was a Polish photographer and photojournalist who was born in Warsaw in 1891. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He began his career as a portrait photographer, but soon moved on to photojournalism, working for various newspapers and magazines.

Boniecki's work was highly acclaimed for its artistic quality and technical skill. He was known for his ability to capture the essence of a moment, often using light and shadow to create dramatic effects. His photographs were often featured in exhibitions throughout Europe, including the International Exhibition of Photography in Paris (1925) and the International Exhibition of Photography in Berlin (1927).

Boniecki's most famous works include his photographs of World War I battlefields, which he captured with great skill and sensitivity. He also documented everyday life during this period, capturing images of people from all walks of life. His work has been widely published and exhibited around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Boniecki died in Warsaw in 1945 at the age of 54. His legacy lives on through his photographs, which continue to inspire photographers today.
