Sonia Roh is a Korean-American photographer and visual artist based in New York City. She is best known for her vibrant and colorful photographs that capture the beauty of everyday life.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Sonia moved to the United States at the age of seven. She grew up in Los Angeles, California, where she developed an early interest in photography. After graduating from high school, she attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. There she studied photography and fine art and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2004.

After college, Sonia moved to New York City to pursue her career as a professional photographer. She quickly established herself as an up-and-coming talent in the city’s vibrant art scene. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, Vogue Italia, and Harper’s Bazaar Korea. In addition to her editorial work, Sonia has also exhibited her photographs at galleries around the world including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City and the Seoul Museum of Art in South Korea.

Sonia’s work is characterized by its vivid colors and unique perspectives on everyday life. Her photographs often feature people from diverse backgrounds interacting with their environment or engaging with each other. Through her work, Sonia hopes to capture moments that are both beautiful and meaningful—moments that will inspire viewers to appreciate life’s simple pleasures.
