Renee's passion for photography began when she was just a young girl growing up in the small town of Santa Barbara, California. She was inspired by the beauty of nature and the people around her, and soon began to take pictures of everything she saw. Renee attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where she earned a degree in photography and visual arts. In 2020, Renee was awarded the prestigious Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Photography for her series “The Human Condition” which explored themes of identity through portraiture.
