Moshik Ashkenazi is an Israeli photographer and visual artist based in Tel Aviv. He is best known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of documentary, fashion, and fine art.

Born in Jerusalem in 1975, Moshik grew up surrounded by the beauty of the city’s ancient architecture and its vibrant culture. From a young age, he was drawn to the visual arts and began experimenting with photography as a teenager. After completing his military service in the Israeli Defense Forces, he studied photography at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem.

In 2000, Moshik moved to Tel Aviv where he began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue Italia, Marie Claire, Elle Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, and many more. He has also exhibited his work at galleries around the world including the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and the Jewish Museum in New York City.

Moshik’s photographs are characterized by their vivid colors and dreamlike quality. He often uses natural light to create surreal images that capture moments of beauty and emotion. His work has been praised for its ability to evoke a sense of nostalgia while still remaining contemporary.

In addition to his photographic work, Moshik is also an accomplished filmmaker who has directed several short films that have been screened at international film festivals. He continues to live and work in Tel Aviv where he continues to explore new ways of expressing himself through photography and film.
