Laurie Lynn Stark is an American photographer and visual artist based in Los Angeles, California. She is best known for her vibrant and colorful photographs of everyday life.

Stark was born in San Francisco, California in 1975. She grew up surrounded by art and creativity, as her mother was a painter and her father was a sculptor. From an early age, she developed a passion for photography and began taking pictures of her family and friends.

Stark attended the University of California, Santa Cruz where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in photography. She quickly established herself as one of the city’s most sought-after photographers, shooting for magazines such as Vogue, Elle, GQ, and Harper’s Bazaar.

In addition to her commercial work, Stark has also created several personal projects that explore themes such as identity, gender roles, and the human condition. Her work has been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and the International Center of Photography in New York City.

Stark’s work has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal Magazine, TIME Magazine, Vanity Fair Italy and many more. She has also been recognized with awards from organizations such as American Photography 30th Annual Awards (2018) and PDN Photo Annual (2019).

Today Stark continues to create stunning images that capture the beauty of everyday life with her unique vision.
