Jannis Tsipoulanis is a Greek photographer and visual artist based in Athens. He was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1985 and has been taking photographs since he was a child.

Tsipoulanis studied photography at the University of Thessaloniki, where he graduated with a degree in photography and visual arts. After graduating, he moved to Athens to pursue his career as a professional photographer.

Tsipoulanis’s work focuses on the human condition, exploring themes such as identity, memory, and nostalgia. His photographs often feature people from his native Greece, capturing their everyday lives and experiences. He has also traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia to capture unique images of different cultures and landscapes.

Tsipoulanis’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens, the National Museum of Photography in Thessaloniki, and the International Center for Photography in New York City. His photographs have also been published in various magazines and books.

In addition to his photographic work, Tsipoulanis is also an active member of the Greek art community. He regularly participates in workshops and lectures on photography and visual arts at universities throughout Greece. He is also an active member of several photography organizations such as the Hellenic Photographic Society (HPS) and the Greek Association of Professional Photographers (GAPP).

Tsipoulanis’s work continues to be recognized internationally for its unique vision and creative approach to capturing life’s moments.
