Iris Björk is a Swedish photographer and visual artist based in Stockholm. She has been working as a professional photographer since the early 2000s, and her work has been featured in numerous publications, including Vogue, Elle, and Glamour.

Iris was born in Stockholm in 1979 and grew up surrounded by art and creativity. She developed an interest in photography at an early age, and began taking pictures of her friends and family when she was just a teenager. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Gothenburg where she studied photography and visual arts.

In 2003, Iris moved to New York City to pursue her career as a professional photographer. She quickly established herself as one of the city’s most sought-after photographers, shooting for fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, and many more. Her work has also been featured in advertising campaigns for major brands such as H&M and Calvin Klein.

In addition to her commercial work, Iris is also an avid fine art photographer. Her work often focuses on themes of identity and femininity; exploring the complexities of being a woman in today’s society through her lens. Her photographs have been exhibited around the world at galleries such as The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City and The Photographers’ Gallery in London.

Iris continues to live and work in Stockholm where she is currently working on several personal projects that explore themes of identity and femininity through photography.
