Ira Bordo is an award-winning photographer and visual artist based in New York City. He has been photographing for over 25 years, and his work has been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and National Geographic.

Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1965, Ira Bordo developed an early interest in photography. He began taking pictures of his family and friends at a young age, and soon realized that he had a passion for capturing moments on film. After graduating from high school, he attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan where he studied photography and filmmaking.

After college, Ira began working as a freelance photographer for various publications. His work has taken him around the world to places such as India, Africa, Europe, and South America. He has also photographed celebrities such as President Barack Obama and actor Robert De Niro.

In addition to his commercial work, Ira is also an accomplished fine art photographer. His photographs have been exhibited at galleries throughout the United States and Europe. His work often focuses on themes of identity and culture through portraiture and street photography.

Ira Bordo's photographs have won numerous awards including the International Photography Award (IPA) for Best Portrait Series in 2017 and the Lucie Foundation Scholarship Award for Documentary Photography in 2018. He continues to create stunning images that capture the beauty of everyday life around the world.
