Cornelia Wahlberg is a Swedish photographer and visual artist based in Stockholm. She is known for her unique and captivating images that explore the relationship between people and their environment.

Born in Stockholm in 1975, Cornelia developed an interest in photography at an early age. She studied photography at the University of Gothenburg, graduating with a degree in Fine Arts in 2000. After graduation, she began working as a freelance photographer, shooting for magazines and newspapers around the world.

In 2004, Cornelia was awarded the prestigious Hasselblad Award for her work on the series “The Human Landscape” which explored the relationship between people and their environment. This series was exhibited at numerous galleries around Europe and was also published as a book.

Cornelia has since gone on to create many other projects that explore themes such as identity, memory, and place. Her work has been exhibited internationally at galleries such as The Photographers’ Gallery in London, The Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and The Hasselblad Center in Gothenburg. In addition to her photographic work, Cornelia has also written several books about photography and art theory.

Cornelia continues to live and work in Stockholm where she is currently working on her next project exploring the theme of home.
