Carmo Amorim is a Portuguese photographer who has been capturing the beauty of his homeland for over 30 years. Born in Lisbon in 1965, he developed an early passion for photography and began taking pictures of his family and friends at a young age.

He studied photography at the University of Lisbon, where he graduated with honors in 1988. After graduation, he worked as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers, including Expresso and Visão. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

In addition to his work as a professional photographer, Carmo Amorim is also an avid traveler and explorer. He has traveled extensively throughout Portugal and other parts of Europe, capturing stunning images of landscapes, architecture, and people along the way. His photographs have been published in books such as “Portugal: A Photographic Journey” (2005) and “Portugal: A Visual Journey” (2008).

Carmo Amorim’s work is characterized by its vivid colors and unique perspectives. He often uses long exposures to capture the beauty of his subjects in a single frame. His photographs are often described as “poetic” due to their dreamlike quality. He continues to explore new ways to capture the beauty of Portugal through his lens.
