Basile Mookherjee is an award-winning photographer and visual artist based in London. He has been capturing the beauty of the world around him since he was a child, and his work has been featured in numerous publications, exhibitions, and galleries.

Basile was born in India and moved to London at the age of seven. He studied photography at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, where he developed his unique style of photography. His work is characterized by its vibrant colors, bold compositions, and a focus on capturing the beauty of everyday life.

Basile's work has been exhibited in galleries across Europe and North America, including the Tate Modern in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. He has also been featured in publications such as Vogue, The Guardian, The New York Times Magazine, and National Geographic. In addition to his photography career, Basile is also an accomplished filmmaker and video artist.

Basile's passion for photography has taken him around the world to capture stunning images from places like India, Nepal, Thailand, Japan, Mexico, Cuba, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and more. Basile’s photographs have won numerous awards including a World Press Photo Award for his series “The Other Side of India” which documented life in rural India.
