Andrew was born and raised in Los Angeles and developed an interest in photography at a young age. He began taking pictures of his friends and family with his father's old camera. After high school, he attended the Art Center College of Design where he earned a degree in photography.

After graduating from college, Andrew began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and brands. He quickly gained recognition for his unique style of shooting which combines traditional portraiture with modern techniques.
