Ralph Lauren and Karl Lagerfeld to dress Melania Trump?

As the inauguration of President Donald Trump draws closer all eyes are focused on the future first lady Melania Trump and what she will be wearing on Inauguration Day.

Over the last several weeks much has been talked about which designer would dress Melania with many designers including Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs stating that they will not dress the future first lady. However, the new first lady seems to have found two designers: Ralph Lauren and Karl Lagerfeld to create her Inauguration looks.

The choice of Ralph Lauren - a Hillary Clinton supporter, is somewhat unexpected. Hillary wore Lauren during the Democratic convention and during her concession speech. Melania on the other hand chose Ralph Lauren looks for one of the debates and on the night of the election, during Donald's acceptance speech.

According to Women's Wear Daily, Lauren is also working on additional pieces for Trump and the rest of the family to wear throughout the inauguration week. As to Lagerfeld, it is unclear if it will be under his eponymous label, Chanel or Fendi.
