Brand of the Week: Staud

Each week, we take the time to highlight our favorite Fashion brands. Last week, we profiled Copenhagen-based womenswear brand Saks Potts and this week we've decided to feature Staud.

The ready-to-wear cult label was founded in California in 2015 by Los Angeles designer Sarah Staudinger and her partner George Augusto with the idea that fashion should empower women as well as be accessible.

Since its launch the label has come to be known for its vintage-inspired tongue-in-cheek classic pieces with scrupulous attention to detail and feminine aura. When it comes to its accessories, a number of its bags such as the iconic Bissett bucket bag and the Moreau bucket bag have fast become a hit amongst influencers. Unpretentious, Original and Comfortable, Staud also has a strong celebrity following and its pieces have been spotted on Jeanne Damas, Alexa Chung and Dakota Fanning.
