Katy Perry Is Bazaar's September 2015 Cover Star

Singer Katy Perry has snagged the September 2015 Cover of Harpers Bazaar.

Taking centre stage, 30-year-old entertainer was styled by Carine Roitfeld and photographed by visionary Jean Paul Goude as part of Bazaar's Icon portfolio. She was transformed into one of her favorite historic legends--Elizabeth Taylor who is her personal icon. For the cover Perry sports a black tulle trimmed black Saint Laurent gown by Hedi Slimane and Cartier bracelet as she chanels the legendary star.

In an alterative cover the "Dark Horse" singer is seen wearing bold emerald green eye shadow, diamond earrings, red lips and sleek black hair, while the original photo of Elizabeth is cut in half with Katy mimicking the rest.

"An icon transcends time. Liz was so fabulous and decadent and had a style that evolved with the years ...and I'm sure I'll be married just as many times!" Katy said.

The full list of icons chosen for the issue are Mariah Carey, Dakota Johnson, Jessica Chastain, Lucky Blue, Oprah Winfrey, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Willow Smith.
