Zahrat AlKhaleej

Zahrat AlKhaleej is the first women's lifestyle magazine of the United Arab Emirates. It was launched in 1979. It is published weekly by the Abu Dhabi Media.

The founding editor is Abla Al Nowais, one of Arabs first women journalists, who would later also become a media consultant to the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court|presidential court. From being a symbol and voice for female topics and activism, the magazine now also covers women in fashionable clothes and without veils, even while UAE is still largely conservative as a society. The patronage of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his wife Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbi|Sheikha Fatima enabled the magazine to grow.

The circulation in 2016 was over 200,000.
