The Big Issue Korea was established in 2010. Vendors buy the magazine for 2,500 won and sell for 5,000. As of this year, 68 vendors have found housing, and 25 have found re-employment through The Big Issue Korea.

The Big Issue magazine is a social enterprise, a business that reinvests its profits in helping others who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or whose lives are blighted by poverty.
