Formerly known as East Sydney Tech, the Fashion Design Studio, now located at Ultimo TAFE, is reknowned for its innovation and creativity. It is internationally recognised & considered to be the Premier Fashion Design Institute in Australia. It is also one of the leading schools worldwide.The Fashion Design Studio steadily holds a strong reputation for the design and production of original, inspired and modern fashion, & its graduate success speaks for itself.
Graduates of the school include leading Australian and international designers such as Dion Lee and Zimmerman.
FDS encourages collaborative work processes and creative design exploration. With over 120 years of educating fashion industry professionals. Under invitation by Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia, FDS has continuously presented the new guard of creative fashion designers since 1999 on the official schedule.
