Michael Avedon is an American photographer and filmmaker based in New York City. He is the grandson of legendary fashion photographer Richard Avedon, and the son of renowned actress and model Carol Alt.

Michael began his career as a photographer in 2009, shooting for magazines such as Vogue, GQ, and Harper's Bazaar. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

In addition to his photography work, Michael has directed several short films and music videos. His first feature-length film, "The Last Sunday," premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2018.

Michael is also an avid traveler and has documented his journeys through photography and film. He has traveled to over 30 countries on six continents, capturing stunning images of landscapes and cultures around the world.

Michael's work has been recognized by numerous awards, including a Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Fine Art Photography in 2017. He continues to push boundaries with his photography and filmmaking, creating unique works that capture moments of beauty from around the globe.
