Brigitte Niedermair

Brigitte Niedermair is an internationally renowned photographer and artist from Italy. She is best known for her fashion photography, which has been featured in magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle.

Born in Bolzano, Italy in 1965, Brigitte Niedermair grew up surrounded by the beauty of the Italian Alps. She developed a passion for photography at an early age and began taking pictures of her family and friends. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Applied Sciences in Bolzano where she studied photography and graphic design.

In 1989, Brigitte moved to Milan to pursue a career in fashion photography. She quickly established herself as one of the most sought-after photographers in the industry, working with some of the biggest names in fashion including Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Gucci, and Versace. Her work has been featured on the covers of numerous magazines including Vogue Italia and Harper's Bazaar UK.

In addition to her commercial work, Brigitte has also created several personal projects that explore themes such as identity and femininity. Her work has been exhibited at galleries around the world including The Photographers' Gallery in London and The Museum of Modern Art in New York City. In 2017 she was awarded the prestigious Hasselblad Masters Award for her contribution to photography.
