Gucci Launches Travel Platform


Gucci has unveiled 'Gucci Places', a unique and innovative travel platform that aims at expanding the Gucci empire.

The Italian brand helmed by creative director Alessandro Michele astonished the Fashion world when it announced the news on Tuesday. With Gucci Places, users with globetrotter ambitions are given the opportunity to explore numerous locations all over the world, which served as inspiration and motif for the collections of the brand. This gives travelers the opportunity to take a look at the personal Moodboards of the designers.

Other features include exclusive picture and video material as well as invitations to special events. They can consult a dedicated guide to each Place. According to the label, the new project is dedicated to those seeking the unexpected in travel and experiences and will give users a substantive look into the brand's rich history.

Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, England is the first location that Gucci has chosen will it will host an exhibition of clothing and memorabilia titled 'House Style.'. It is also where the Cruise 2017 campaign was shot with Oscar winner Vanessa Redgrave.

The Gucci Places app is expected to roll out in September, with the brand unveiling further venues and products throughout the year.
