Virge Viertek is a renowned photographer and visual artist from Estonia. He has been capturing the beauty of his homeland for over two decades, and his work has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions around the world.

Viertek was born in Tallinn, Estonia in 1971. He studied photography at the Estonian Academy of Arts, graduating with a degree in photography in 1995. After graduation, he began working as a freelance photographer, shooting for various magazines and newspapers. His work soon gained recognition both nationally and internationally, and he was invited to participate in several exhibitions around Europe.

In 2000, Viertek released his first book of photographs entitled "Estonia: A Photographic Journey". The book was an instant success and showcased his unique vision of the country's landscapes and people. Since then, he has released several other books including "Estonia: A Visual Odyssey" (2005) and "Estonia: A Photographic Exploration" (2009).

Viertek's work has been featured in numerous publications such as National Geographic Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Time Magazine, Stern Magazine, Der Spiegel Magazine, Le Monde Magazine and many more. His photographs have also been exhibited at galleries across Europe including the Museum of Modern Art in Paris and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
