Tamara Beckwith is an American socialite, model, and photographer. She was born in New York City on April 19, 1970 to parents Vassiliki and Christopher Beckwith. She attended the prestigious Spence School in Manhattan before attending the University of Southern California.

Beckwith began her career as a model at the age of 16, appearing in magazines such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. She has also appeared in campaigns for brands such as Chanel, Versace, and Dolce & Gabbana. In addition to modeling, she has also acted in films such as The Real Blonde (1997) and The Matchmaker (1997).

In recent years, Beckwith has turned her attention to photography. She has shot for publications such as Vanity Fair and Elle Magazine. Her work has been featured in exhibitions around the world including the National Portrait Gallery in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Beckwith is also an active philanthropist who supports a number of charities including Save The Children and The Prince's Trust. She is married to British businessman Matthew Mellon with whom she has two children.
