Richard Machado is a renowned photographer and visual artist based in Los Angeles, California. He has been capturing stunning images of the world around him for over two decades. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including National Geographic, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.

Born in Mexico City, Richard moved to the United States at the age of nine. He was immediately drawn to photography and began taking pictures with his father's camera. After graduating from high school, he attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography.

Since then, Richard has traveled extensively throughout the world to capture unique images that tell stories about people and places. His work often focuses on social issues such as poverty and immigration. He has also documented many cultures around the globe including those of Mexico, India, China, and Africa.

In addition to his photography career, Richard is also an accomplished filmmaker and educator. He has directed several short films that have been screened at film festivals around the world. He also teaches classes on photography at various universities throughout California.

Richard's work has been exhibited in galleries across the United States as well as internationally in countries such as France and Japan. His photographs have also been featured in books such as "The World Through My Eyes" (2008) and "The Human Condition" (2012).
