Nico Vascellari is an Italian artist, photographer, and musician. Born in 1976 in Verona, Italy, he has been active in the art world since the late 1990s.

Vascellari's work is often characterized by its use of found objects and materials to create installations and sculptures. He has also created a number of photographs that explore themes of identity and memory. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Tate Modern in London.

In addition to his visual art practice, Vascellari is also a musician. He has released several albums under his own name as well as with various bands such as Thee Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band and Thee Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band with Choir. He has also collaborated with other musicians such as Mike Patton and John Zorn.

Vascellari's work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, Artforum International, Flash Art International, Frieze Magazine, and Vice Magazine. He has also been featured on television programs such as BBC's Newsnight and Channel 4's Random Acts series. In 2017 he was awarded the prestigious Premio Furla for Visual Arts by the Fondazione Furla in Milan.

Vascellari continues to live and work in Verona where he is currently working on a new series of photographs exploring themes of identity and memory through found objects from his home city.
