Matthias Bjorklund is a Swedish photographer and visual artist based in Stockholm. He is known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of documentary, fashion, and fine art.

Bjorklund began his career as a freelance photographer in the early 2000s, shooting for various magazines and newspapers. His work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Vogue Italia, and GQ. He has also worked with numerous brands including Nike, Adidas, and H&M.

In addition to his commercial work, Bjorklund has also created several personal projects that explore themes of identity and belonging. His series “The Other Side” was exhibited at the Hasselblad Center in Gothenburg in 2018. He has also been featured in group exhibitions at the Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm and the Hasselblad Center in Gothenburg.

Bjorklund’s work has been recognized with several awards including the Hasselblad Masters Award (2018) and the International Photography Awards (2017). He is currently represented by Stockholms Fotografiska Agency.
