Liang Zi is a Chinese photographer and visual artist based in Beijing. He is best known for his unique and captivating images of everyday life in China.

Born in Beijing in 1982, Liang Zi grew up surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city. From an early age, he was drawn to photography, taking pictures of his friends and family with a simple point-and-shoot camera. As he grew older, he began to explore more creative avenues with his photography, experimenting with different techniques and styles.

In 2004, Liang Zi enrolled at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing to study photography. During this time, he developed a passion for capturing the beauty of everyday life in China. His work often focuses on the people and places that make up Chinese culture, from street scenes to traditional festivals. He has also documented the rapid changes taking place in China’s cities as they modernize and develop.

Liang Zi’s work has been exhibited around the world, including at galleries in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London, New York City and Los Angeles. His photographs have been featured in publications such as National Geographic Magazine and The New York Times Magazine. In addition to his photographic work, Liang Zi also teaches workshops on photography and visual storytelling at universities across China.

Liang Zi’s photographs are a testament to his passion for capturing the beauty of everyday life in China. Through his work he hopes to share his unique perspective on Chinese culture with audiences around the world.
