Lauren Engel is an award-winning photographer and visual artist based in Los Angeles, California. She has been capturing stunning images of the world around her since she was a child, and her work has been featured in numerous publications, including National Geographic, The New York Times, and The Guardian.

Engel's passion for photography began when she was just a young girl growing up in the suburbs of Chicago. She was inspired by the beauty of nature and the power of light to create captivating images. After graduating from high school, Engel attended Columbia College Chicago where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Photography.

Since then, Engel has traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad to capture stunning landscapes and portraits. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and at the International Center for Photography in New York City.

Engel is also an active member of several professional organizations such as Women Photograph and American Photographic Artists (APA). She is passionate about using her art to tell stories that inspire change and promote social justice. In addition to her photography work, Engel also teaches workshops on digital photography and post-production techniques.

Engel's work has been recognized with numerous awards including a Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Fine Art Photography (2020) and a PDN 30 Award (2018). Her photographs have also been featured on various television shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Good Morning America.
