Born in Paris in 1988, Julien developed an early interest in photography and art. He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, where he graduated with a degree in photography and visual arts. After graduating, he began to pursue his passion for photography full-time, traveling around the world to capture stunning images of landscapes, people, and cultures.

Julien's work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue, The New York Times Magazine, and National Geographic. His photographs have also been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

In addition to his photographic work, Julien is also an accomplished filmmaker. He has directed several short films that have been screened at film festivals around the world. His most recent film was selected for the Cannes Film Festival in 2020.
