Johanna Nyholm is a Swedish photographer and visual artist based in Stockholm. She is best known for her work in fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography.

Nyholm began her career as a photographer in the early 2000s, working with fashion magazines such as Elle and Vogue. She has since gone on to work with a variety of clients including H&M, Adidas, and IKEA. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, and TIME Magazine.

In addition to her commercial work, Nyholm has also created several personal projects that explore themes of identity and belonging. Her series “The Other Side” was exhibited at the Hasselblad Center in Gothenburg in 2018 and focused on the experiences of immigrants living in Sweden. Her most recent project “The Unseen” was released in 2020 and explores the lives of people living with disabilities.

Nyholm’s work has been recognized by numerous awards including the Hasselblad Masters Award (2018) and the International Photography Awards (2020). She is also an active member of the Swedish Association of Professional Photographers (SAPP).
