Born in Berlin in 1965, Dietrich developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures at the age of 12. After completing his studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld, he moved to Hamburg to pursue a career as a professional photographer.

Throughout his career, Dietrich has traveled extensively, capturing stunning images from all over the world. His work has been featured in numerous publications including National Geographic, Stern Magazine, and The New York Times. He has also exhibited his work in galleries and museums across Europe and the United States.
